a tiny update

There is so much to say about Jodie and her progress over the last few months I wouldn't know where to start. So for now I'll just make it quick.

She's smart, coordinated, intelligent, is starting to talk a lot.
We finally took her swimming the other day for the first time, she loved it and thought she was supposed to march like a German in the water and wouldn't walk any other way.

She loves kicking the ball around and keeps it in front of her while she runs around the park, I think she'll be a soccer player.

snow in Feb - 16 months

Jodie's been growing so fast and learning so much in the past months. Don't think for one second that babies are dumb, they are incredibly smart.
Jodie knows her colors, her shapes, knows that if she ejects the DVD and pushes it back in a video will come on. She's not saying a lot yet on her own but she copies really well.
She shouts "daddee" when she needs help and keeps calling till he comes.
She's always bundled up because its cold in england so she gets so so so excited and shy when any clothes come off and wants to stare at herself in the mirror.
When she's naughty she gets time out in the corner, the problem is she likes her corner time wants to stay there and gives me a smirk, rascal.
I don't want this to be long but she's grown so much over the past months, I can even put a pony tail in her hair now!!!!

We tried to take her sledding and she hated it, guess she won't have a future in snow sports. Will try to update more regularly.

Very Belated Birthday Post and update

Jodie turned 1 Sept, 17th.

Se loves cars so much so we got her a car for her birthday and her daddy made her a car cake.
She cleans up after herself, loves anything with wheels, balls, sword fighting and she's got that girly love of SHOES, when she gets a new pair she gets sooooo excited, has to put them on.
She's finally gotten her 4 top front teeth in her 12th month, eats well. She's got plenty of personality, yells her dad's name when its time to eat and he's late. Her fav cartoon is Lion king, she stands by the computer roaring, waiting for someone to come and put it on. There is so much more but I don't want to make this too long.
Thanks Grandma for her Lion King stuffy and Aunty Anna for her barbie laptop and all her friends that gave her little gifts. I know there are tons of pictures here but I liked them all and couldn't cut any, so enjoy all of them or some of them. Thanks for the pics Jonny.

When someone is playing piano she does the cutest thing, she has to go on her tippy toes to reach and she plunks along, barely reaching the keys.

9 month update

This month has been a big month for Jodie. She started walking on her own, standing up from a sitting position on her own, claps her hands in praise for herself - she'll only use it for please when she wants to pull on your heart strings. Her fav place in the house is the stairs, every time she goes up or down she thinks someone should be chasing her and starts getting jumpy and excited hoping for someone to play with her. She eats well and I think is gaining weight cause her cheeks are getting cubbier, I love it.

OH yes, she's gotten her first tooth too. Hurrah!!

The last shot of her stand is a over exposed but she was so pleased with herself that she stood up I had to post her little expression anyway.
